Rebekah Jones is an accomplished harpist, musician, and teacher who has played the harp for over 20 years after beginning her study of the harp at age 5. She also spent years studying piano, voice, and flute.
Rebekah enjoyed traveling as principal harpist with the Young Artist Chamber Players in 2018, performing in Prague, Germany, Austria, Italy and Switzerland. One year later, she served an 18-month service mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Wichita Kansas. Rebekah has enjoyed privately tutoring and teaching her own music students as a trained Suzuki harp teacher for 3 years. As a teacher, she enjoys helping students prepare for recitals, festivals, competitions and professional opportunities. Her current students range in age from 6-55.
Rebekah is grateful for her experiences traveling to Paris, Vienna, Salzburg, Bratislava and Prague in 2023 as principle harpist for the Draper Philharmonic and Choral Society, who she has played with for three years. She also had the opportunity to live in Vienna May-June 2024 where she deepened her knowledge of music history and the German language. She has enjoyed performing with the Symphonic Band and Harp Ensemble at Brigham Young University, from which she recently graduated. In addition to being a part of various ensembles, she also enjoys performing professionally for private events, weddings, and in the lobby of the Grand America Hotel in Salt Lake City, in which she has performed for 7 years.
Rebekah graduated in 2025 a Bachelor of Arts degree in Harp Performance with a double major in Human Development from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. Rebekah looks forward to many more years of loving the harp and teaching others to do the same.
